Carry out speed enforcement to help keep our roads safe
As Camera Enforcement Officer for Leicestershire Police, you will play an important role in ensuring camera equipment is set up and functioning correctly and conduct mobile speed enforcement checks.
Salary: £26,106 - £29,109
9-week shift pattern from 07:00 – 22:00 from Monday- Sunday, averaging 37 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity, with training in the operation of Mobile Speed Enforcement Equipment included.
What you’ll be doing
- Installing and removing cameras at fixed sites
- Compiling statements, completing record sheets and producing evidential media copies of speed enforcement offences
- Liaising with officers undertaking enquiries in relation to camera offences
The must haves
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience installing and operating technical, mechanical or camera equipment
- Experience with route-planning and accurate map reading
